The API Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring the security of APIs by identifying potential vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and conducting testing to prevent data breaches or unauthorized access. This role requires expertise in securing RESTful APIs, understanding security protocols, and staying updated with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement API security strategies and protocols to protect data and applications.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on APIs.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure API design and implementation.

Skill & Experience :

• Strong experience with API security best practices and protocols (OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, etc.).
• Proficiency in vulnerability scanning tools and penetration testing techniques.
• Experience with securing cloud-based and on-premise API services.
