The API Testing Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing tests for APIs, ensuring their functionality, reliability, and performance meet the required standards. The role includes collaborating with development teams to define test strategies, identifying issues, and performing thorough testing of API endpoints for correctness and performance. The engineer will be expected to use various testing tools and frameworks to automate and streamline the testing process, ensuring seamless integration with other services and systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for APIs to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements.
• Work closely with development teams to create comprehensive test plans and strategies.
• Perform load, stress, and performance testing to validate API scalability and reliability.
• Identify, document, and track issues and defects in the API through the development lifecycle.
• Automate API tests using tools like Postman, SoapUI, and other relevant testing frameworks.

Skill & Experience :

• Strong experience with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Assured.
• Proficient in writing test cases, automation scripts, and conducting performance tests for APIs.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP, REST, SOAP, and web services architecture.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines and tools like Jenkins.
