We are seeking a skilled Cloud Monitoring Engineer to oversee the performance, reliability, and availability of cloud-based systems across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). The ideal candidate will design and implement monitoring solutions, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide actionable insights to ensure optimal system operations. This role requires expertise in cloud monitoring tools and proactive problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement monitoring strategies for cloud-based systems.
- Leverage tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Google Cloud Operations Suite (formerly Stackdriver) to monitor system health and performance.
- Create and maintain dashboards for real-time performance and availability metrics.
- Set up alerts and incident response protocols for proactive issue resolution.
- Analyze performance metrics and logs to identify trends and potential system improvements.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to optimize monitoring workflows.
- Ensure monitoring solutions comply with security and compliance standards.
- Provide detailed reporting on system health and performance for stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and improve monitoring tools and practices.
Skill & Experience :
- Proficiency in cloud monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Google Cloud Operations Suite.
- Strong understanding of logging and monitoring frameworks like ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Experience with incident response and root cause analysis in cloud environments.
- Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure and networking concepts (VPC, load balancers, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation.
- Familiarity with containerized environments and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud monitoring or related roles.
