We are seeking an experienced GCP Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient data flow and reliable analytics solutions. This role involves deep expertise in GCP services, data processing frameworks, and modern data engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and workflows on GCP.
• Implement data integration solutions using tools like Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Data Fusion.
• Build and maintain data lakes and warehouses using BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data from various sources.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to optimize data models for analytics.
• Implement security and compliance measures for data storage and processing.
• Leverage GCP AI/ML tools like AI Platform for data-driven insights when needed.
• Document data engineering processes and workflows for ongoing maintenance.

Skill & Experience :

• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and pipeline automation.
• Experience with Apache Beam, Spark, or similar frameworks for distributed data processing.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Knowledge of GCP AI/ML tools and their integration with data pipelines is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, particularly with GCP tools and services.
