The Regression Tester is responsible for verifying that new code changes do not negatively affect the existing functionality of software applications. They focus on identifying defects in previously working features after new updates, ensuring overall software stability and performance before deployment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Execute regression tests on new builds to ensure they do not break existing features.
• Develop and maintain regression test cases and scripts based on software specifications.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve identified issues and verify bug fixes.
• Ensure that all software versions meet the quality standards before release.

Skill & Experience :

• Strong knowledge of regression testing methodologies and processes.
• Experience with test automation tools and scripting (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects in software.
• Experience in working within Agile development environments is a plus.
